Silver in general needs to be cleaned and maintained thru cleaning. Only needs, silver cloth or toothpaste, and baking soda to make it whiter and shining..But we coated already 21K pure white gold to protect the metal inside and just clean sometimes. Then, If the coated gold wears off, regular cleaning must be, otherwise, replated again so as to minimize cleaning.
